Canon Photo Marathon 2010

As you know that i like photography not like but love.
so my friend and i joined the Canon Photo Marathon 2010 which presented by Canon and held in Central Park.
Central Park? Yes! Central Park is 1 mall in West Jakarta.
firstly, the place Central Park make me confuse, why canon photo marathon held in Central Park? what can we get over there?

want to know about it? so i decided to join.

the Canon photo marathon start on Saturday 16-10-2010 from 6 a.m. until finish
hahahhaha. very early to open my eyes no matter the time i really very excited.

canon photo marathon separate with 2 section.
first section with theme architecture and second with theme lifestyle.

1 section start from 8 a.m. until 9.40 a.m.

i submitted just the first picture in section 2 but many picture i like so it made me confuse.

just dream can become 30 finalist from 2113 participants.
my friend and i not one of 30 finalist. hahaa.
it's okay. no problem the experience paid for all.
and this day not end just like that
i got a good news!
okeh this is the most good news ever.
do you know what? my team (Fransisca Angela, Yoga Agung, and me) took a 3rd place in photography competition at SMAK 1.
it was awesome can took 3rd place in SMAK 1 because SMAK 1 is one of good and famous school in Jakarta.
not just my team but the first and second place was taken by my friend so 1,2,3 finalist from my school, SMAK SANG TIMUR. great huh??

hope can win another competition.

HELLO. Welcome back with me Agata Wijaya in my blog life in technicolor. hahahha.

missing me? hahha.

These past few days made me become dizzy. many tasks and test i must to do.
it all makes me little busy but now have a time to back for blog-ing and share what i have done in past few days. its to many to share. so be patient to read it.

Firstly i want to share about WORLD WORKING DAY 2010.

yey! it celebreted on Sunday 10 10 2010. (nice date huh?)
probably, i didn't know that 10 Oct was World Working Day. Fortunately, my friends and I decided to ride bicycle to Sudirman streets(again). GO FUN BIKE!
Because i woke up late so we arrived at 8 o'clock(if i don't wrong). The street already crowded with a billion people who celebrated The World Working Day 2010.
10 10 2010 was a awesome day!

Breakfast is a must.
got breakfast at 7 11. a big bite and slurpee are a good couple.

Appreciate. this words make me proud to myself.
do you know why? because my headmaster that i called Suster said that words to me. she looked very happy, so do i. I can bring a trophy after 3 years i have studied in my school. haha.
it was the first time i joined the photography competition. i already told you about that in my last post right?
and you know i got the second place and bring a trophy.

I will tell you about the competition.
the competition started with workshop with Arbain Rambey on Thursday 23 September ago. He is a photographer for Kompas newspaper and he is world renowned photography in Indonesia. have you ever hear about him?
he told me the point in photographer:
1) light setting 2)angle 3)moment 4)composition.
many people used camera with manual right? but he told for what we bought a very expensive camera if we don't used it? we should pay it and let it works right?
he told many story about his experience and it was awesome.

Great workshop by Arbain Rambey. He was a jury for the competition.

the winner will be announced on Sunday.

so on Sunday i came to Canisius.
on Sunday that was a Education fair in Canisius. the education Fair enlivened with Jaipong dance ( Indonesia's traditional dance) and Angklung performance (Indonesia's traditional bagpipe)

After the Jaipong dance Jreng Jreng Jreng.
my name was called. i can not believe that i was a second place winner. ohhhhh. it was very amazing. and you know? my best friend fransisca angela was the first winner. hahahhaha. happy syalalala.
